WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE?
Payment information is due at the time the application is submitted. The application will not be processed until at least 50% of the payment is received. The balance will be due before or on date of the camp sign-in.
CAN PARENTS STAY AND VOLUNTEER WHILE THEIR CAMPER IS AT CAMP?
Parents serving as health care volunteers occasionally stay on the campgrounds, but this is an exception to the Martial Arts Training Camp guidelines for best practices. The National Training Camp experience is able to provide a traditional learning platform, to further their martial arts knowledge, and increase their confidence. All necessary tools to wear a black belt. Much of the confidence to wear a black belt is learned and developed through different and sometimes exceedingly difficult experiences. Having mom or dad watching over their child shoulder does not reflect the outward appearance of a confident student wearing that belt. Nor does a black belt needing a babysitter to watch them train with their instructor and other students. Young black belt students (or future black belts) deserve the hard earned value of respect, trust and other virtues for what took so many hours of training and sacrifice, a goal that so many have failed to accomplish.
